Dr. Eugene Friesen เป็นผู้มีบทบาทสำคัญในโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนมิตรภาพโรตารี (Rotary Friendship Exchange – RFE) ระหว่างภาค 5500 และ ภาค 3360 และเป็นผู้อยู่เบื้องหลังความสำเร็จของโครงการทุนสนับสนุนจากมูลนิธิโรตารี ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Matching Grant หรือ Global Grant ซึ่งท่านได้ประสานความร่วมมืออย่างแข็งขันจนเกิดโครงการอันเป็นประโยชน์อย่างมากมาย โดยเฉพาะในพื้นที่ของภาค 3360 ประเทศไทย

การจากไปของท่านคือการสูญเสียของครอบครัวโรตารีทั่วโลก โดยเฉพาะสำหรับพวกเราที่เคยได้รับแรงบันดาลใจและมิตรภาพจากท่านอย่างใกล้ชิด ท่านคือปูชนียบุคคลที่ควรแก่การระลึกถึงตลอดไป

Condolence Letter

With deepest sorrow, we extend our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Dr. Eugene Friesen, a highly respected member of the Rotary Club of Green Valley, District 5500, Arizona, USA.

Dr. Friesen played a vital role in the Rotary Friendship Exchange (RFE) program between district 3360 and district 5500, and was a key liaison in supporting Matching Grants and Global Grants through The Rotary Foundation. His tireless efforts brought numerous impactful projects to life, especially in District 3360, Thailand.

His passing is a profound loss to the global Rotary family. For us who had the privilege of working closely with him, his leadership, friendship, and dedication will forever be remembered. He was a true Rotarian and an honorable figure who made lasting contributions to our communities.

We share our deepest sympathies with his family and the Rotary Club of Green Valley. May the soul of Dr. Eugene Friesen rest in peace.
